Rising Stars
Asked recently by Reactions magazine to nominate high-flyers in the London and UK retail, insurance and pensions market something became clear to me, it is ok to talk positively about the world of insurance! Not something that has been possible within other financial services markets for a while now.
There are some great stars out there in the insurance industry; Amanda Mackenzie Chief Marketing Officer at Aviva, Laurent Matras, MD at Groupama to name but two. I imagine this number will grow as banks have to strip talent and markets that are still growing like insurance and payments, lap them up.
The two that we suggested were Olivier Mariee, CMO at AXA UK and John Lawson of Standard Life.
